New Gold Panda track

Gold Panda is certainly one of my favorite dj/producers. I can't help but love the luscious layers and Oriental influence in his music. It almost sounds euphoric. Luckily, he's got a new track to temporarily satiate my addiction. Nine months after his debut, "MPB" hits with more texture, more luscious layers, and an overall air of elegance. He's definitely eating his bamboo and growing into a mature panda. This track is solid. Hopefully the future brings more new Gold Panda.

June Aeroplane and Mustang mixes

What better way to move into the heart of summer than grooving to an awesome mix. June's almost over and there are plenty of mixes springing up on the internet. It's like dandelions in a field. Two that caught my ears this afternoon come to us courtesy of Belgium. Aeroplane and Mustang both released new house disco mixes this week. Check them out below.

I'm not dead, I swear!

It's been a while. Father's Day had me hanging with Dad, and my sister's graduation popped up too. I didn't make it to the radio show last week, but this Sunday, I'll be back! I've missed sharing awesome music. Check out this fine track by Columbus which popped up on my Soundcloud dashboard tonight. It's not a new track, but it's so delicious. See you Sunday!

New Owl Vision track

Owl Vision released the video for his newest single yesterday. It only seemed appropriate after playing a track on the last show that I share this. The video was directed and produced by David Strindberg and Johan Bring of  PUNX STHML. Look for "Deathstar" to be released on Owl Vision's label, Comerbid Records, on June 14th.

Thoughts...: Justin Faust

Munich's Justin Faust has been lighting up the scene since 1992 with house records released on a variety of labels. I first heard Faust a couple of months ago. Not even 30 seconds into the track, I was sold. His music has beautiful lush synth accents over some nice disco beats. It's a recipe for awesome!

Faust has done some Grade A remixes of Daft Punk, kap10kurt, Edwin van Cleef, among others. He's even received some musical nods from Russ Chimes, a genius in my opinion.

Check out the preview of Faust's upcoming EP which will be released next month on Discotexas.
