You know it's a good day when you wake up to blue skies, a cool breeze, and a new Magic Tape!! Only this Magic Tape's going to have to get me through the rest of summer. The next one won't appear until September. Hopefully The Magician has something else up his sleeve.

This Keenhouse mix not only has the most amazing summer groove going on, it has two parts! It's a house addict's dream. I think I listened to it three times today, and danced entirely through the first part in my room. Burning this for the car wasn't even a question. The two hours of super smooth house is fantastic. Even though it came out a couple of weeks ago, it wraps up my weekend and sends me shuffling on to the next weekend of djs and shows. Sadly, I didn't come across a tracklist for this one. If I find anything, I'll add it to the post. Hope you love this as much as I do!
Eats Everything has been on my radar a lot lately. I've been feeling the deep and bassy house. Now if only my internet would cooperate. It's not really conducive to the year 2012, so finding any music has been dreadful. I was happy to find this latest Resident Advisor podcast while skimming my facebook stalkerfeed on my phone today.
This mix features several Eat Everything edits in addition to some killer tracks. Apparently the guy hasn't done a set like this before. Well, I hope that he does, and I hope that he does it in New York. I'd like to believe that the kid who knocked on my door (intending to go to the small gathering next door) thought he was about to walk into the dance party of the century. I mean, I was having the dance party of the century -- alone.

It's been a tough couple of weeks for me personally. No need to go into details, but do pardon the lack of posts beyond my usual Sunday and Monday obligations. The reason I mention it is because I have been in need of some hard-hitting house tracks. This new Edwin Van Cleef mix couldn't have come at a better time. Not only is there a new remix from Edwin Van Cleef in this Show & Tell mix, but there are also a handful of delicious Simian Mobile Disco tracks off their new album, Unpatterns. That's my main reason for mentioning the mix.
Everyone already knows how much I love Edwin Van Cleef, but this mix got me to immediately check out the Simian Mobile Disco album that's been sitting on my desktop for the past few weeks. When this Disclosure mix popped up a couple of weeks ago in my Facebook newsfeed, or what I like to call my stalkerfeed, I was so happy that I got to catch it live. Disclosure has such a fantastic sound. Everything they touch is amazing. I posted something about it while it was actually happening, but I meant to post again when I found out it was up on YouTube.
