Spring Cleaning: Eclecticism's Top Albums of 2013
Happy first day of spring! I had my top albums of 2013 list mostly finished, but kept "perfecting" it. Then it seemed like it was too late to post. Since spring cleaning is in full swing, I'm going to post it anyway. So let's take a trip back to 2013 and remember some fantastic tunes.

The Kickoff: Triple J Radio - Jamie Jones & Lee Foss (Hot Natured) in the mix 07/12/13
Jamie Jones and Lee Foss, Hot Creations founders and half of the dance supergroup Hot Natured, stopped by Australia's Triple J Radio a couple of weeks ago. These guys have had a great year, and it's safe to say at this point that anything Hot Natured is gold. It seems like Hot Natured has plenty in store for the upcoming year. This mix features the first plays of two remixes, one by Eats Everything and the other by Edu Imbernon. No word of a release date for anything, so we'll just have to keep our eyes and ears open.

The Kickoff: Hot Natured - Mixmag Cover CD
Hooray for Mixmag naming Hot Natured as their act of the year! I haven't posted my list yet, but Different Sides of the Sun is definitely my top album of 2013. Disclosure was a close contestant for the top spot, but what did it was "Isis." Nothing can top that song. Thank goodness Mixmag uploads their cover cds, because the ones at Barnes & Noble are always missing. January's mix from Hot Natured is simply one huge, partying magic carpet ride you'll certainly enjoy. These guys are great. Make sure to download this one for your New Year's Eve festivities!
