Happy first day of spring! I had my top albums of 2013 list mostly finished, but kept "perfecting" it. Then it seemed like it was too late to post. Since spring cleaning is in full swing, I'm going to post it anyway. So let's take a trip back to 2013 and remember some fantastic tunes.
Goldroom's seasonal mixes are always something to look forward to. This one's packed with lots of beachy disco house and warm weather vibes as we get closer and closer to spring. If you've been listening to the show, you'll come across some familiar tracks from Wayward, Edwin Van Cleef, Chris Malinchak, and Miami Horror. What a great mix! Enjoy!
October crept up fast. September wasn't really an active music month for me. I apologize for slacking on my Monday mix to kickoff the past couple of weeks. Hey, sometimes you just aren't feeling it.
This Monday, I'm back on, and it apparently coincides with the re-lauch of Vitalic Noise. To showcase some of their artists, they released this flawless mix. It's available to download for free, but most of the tracks remain a mystery. However, one of the identified tracks led to me acquiring an album, so it's not a complete letdown. It's still a great mix to kickoff the week.
Well this is quite unusual for a Wednesday. Since I had off today, I decided to fill in some empty space on the radio this afternoon. Happy first day of spring! Not only does it feel like the epitome of spring in regards to the weather, but now I've got the tunes to top it all off. Talk about the perfect day to debut a Goldroom mix. I love this guy's sound. He's got tropical beach disco that kills. I'm not one to look at the entire playlist before I actually listen to the mix if it's from a reliable dj, because I like the whole element of surprise. So as soon as I heard Edwin van Cleef's "Falling," my heart melted, and I had to post something. To the Magic Tape I've been rocking in my car -- I'm sorry, you've been replaced.
With all the other goodies, I almost forgot this L'Étranger track came out today. Then he posted a little bit on facebook. Downloaded! Originally, I was going to make a general post with a bunch of random songs that I downloaded today, but those are just going to be a little bonus at the end. The artwork for this is also great. It's better than the silly little disco heart I was going to use.)

I'm so glad Shindu put together this mix for Electro Boogie Encounter! It furthers my love of all things Belgian. These are some great tracks! Goldroom's remix of Niki & The Dove makes a much welcomed appearance, along with a great Edwin Van Cleef remix to feed my recent obsession.
