The Kickoff: Cyclist - Nu Disco Your Disco Exclusive Mix (April 2014)

It's probably my internet, but whatever it is has SoundCloud interferring with my Monday night listening time. So I'm going to have to revisit this when the player decides not to pause after 40 seconds of audio.

I jumped around and skimmed a bit, and of course Canadian producer/dj Cyclist is up to his usual mastery of nu disco. This latest mix comes from blog Nu Disco Your Disco. It was hard to catch tracks with things not working right, and I didn't see a tracklisting. A highlight though was the really awesome remix of The Cure's "Just Like Heaven" right around the middle of the mix.

Hopefully your listening experience is better than mine. I guess I'll have to try again in the morning.

 

The Kickoff: Maximum Heat 002 - NSFW August Mix

Summer's wrapping up, and I'm deeply disappointed in the amount of time (or rather, the complete lack of time) I've spent at the beach. All these great summer tracks floating around out there, and I haven't put them to use. It's sad. This week's mix really has me craving warm sand and crashing waves. 

Los Angeles-based blog, La Nuit, hosts good vibes and some intensely hot disco house courtesy of Amsterdam's NSFW. The mix features tracks from some of my summer favorites including Oliver, Majestique, Peter & The Magician, Le Crayon, and well, have a listen.

Mix Monday: Cyclist - November Bikeride :::mixtape:::

Cyclist is always great go to for some funky house disco. This mix is the second installment of these "Bikeride" mixes. November really gets going from the start just spiral into a deeper and deeper groove. The end gets pretty intense with the Zombie Disco Squad Remix of Mike Mago into Chris Malinchak. Delicious.
