Playlist: "Eclecticism" 11/16/2014

Hopefully you ditched the Superbowl for good tunes. I didn't get a chance to see it, but apparently it wasn't worth watching. Tonight's show was great! There are a few downloads you might want to grab. Mainly, The Magician's Chris Malinchak remix and Rise & Fool's Britney Spears cover.

A lot of good things have been happening in Ibiza that I'm not taking part in due to geographical and financial complications. If only Pangea hadn't separated millions of years ago. International travelling might be affordable.

One thing I'm sad I missed was Chris Malinchak's performance at Ushuaia last Friday. To end the set, Malinchak takes to the piano, accenting "So Good To Me" for a special live performance. I'm guilty of describing a lot of things as "absolutely stunning," but this finale takes the cake. This one almost had me in tears. (Beautiful things get to me.) Perhaps we'll get to see Chris Malinchak performing with a full, live backing orchestra some day soon.

Make sure to enjoy this while it lasts. It looks like BBC Radio's only hosting the video for a few more days.

Holy smokes! This is the last show for November! This month was all sorts of messed up because of the hurricane and loss of power. Everything just seemed to fly by, and now it's basically over. Well, December is one of the best months in my opinion. Thanksgiving is really just pregaming for the holidays that follow. Hopefully you enjoyed the show, and come back next week. Mix Monday: Chris Malinchak - May Set

Despite the humidity and rainy weather we had, it was a pretty good day. I got to enjoy a lovely fruit salad and some intense Scrabble playing. The quantity of fruit that went into this thing was a little absurd, but it was so delicious.

I saw this mix by Chris Malinchak on some feed earlier today before going fruit shopping, but hadn't gotten a chance to listen to it until now. As if having one Perseus track to start off wasn't satisfying enough, there's a second. Score! There's also some the tracks from Malinchak's latest EP which I've been meaning to get. I'm a sucker for all things French Express. It's right up there with the yummy fruit I had after dinner.

L'Étranger - Falling For You

With all the other goodies, I almost forgot this L'Étranger track came out today. Then he posted a little bit on facebook. Downloaded!  Originally, I was going to make a general post with a bunch of random songs that I downloaded today, but those are just going to be a little bonus at the end. The artwork for this is also great. It's better than the silly little disco heart I was going to use.)
