The Kickoff: Du Tonc - Mixtape 1

 

 

Together as Du Tonc, Mighty Mouse and Matt Van Schie (of Van She) create a huge groovy wave of energy to get you dancing. This mix is packed with funky nu-disco tracks from JBAG, Yuksek, Shit Robot, and Juan Maclean. They've done a great job for their first mixtape! Hopefully a tracklist follows to unveil some of the mystery. Expect a new track from Du Tonc called "Island," available October 8.

What could be better than starting off the week with an entire mix of JBAG tracks? The Kitsuné master in the hat put together this wonderful mix featuring JBAG remixes sandwiched between two original tracks. I've been on a Kitsuné kick for the past couple of weeks, so hopefully you don't mind. Everything associated with the label just promotes fun and good vibes. It's great! Enjoy!

The Kickoff: Dirty Kitchen with Phunktastike

Phunktastike is said to be one of the pioneers of nu-disco in Argentina. Not only is he a dj and producer, but also a radio host and the founder of Spirit Soul Music. His latest release came across my dashboard earlier and left me wanting more Phunk. Phunktastike is known for his killer deep house and nu disco vibes. It adds a great touch to "Calle Espiritu Santo" by Rob Garza & Neighbour.
