Toro's on my mind. The new record is out, I got my ticket to one of the shows in New York, and I finally got to listen to this mix that's been an open tab in my browser for way too long. Nothing from the new album, Anything In Return, appears in the mix, but it definitely reflects how multifaceted Toro Y Moi's sound is. Usually I wouldn't hesitate to put Toro in my mental chillwave file, but this mix definitely delves into solid house territory. The new album does as well.
