The Kickoff: Mickey - In The Mix #2

Let's start the week off with a party. We always end with a party on Sundays, but let's keep the good vibes rolling. Belgian dj/producer Mickey has been doing a monthly mix series called In The Mix. At his second installment, the mix series contain a bunch of new tracks and old ones that inspire Mickey. Get ready to get down. The tracklist will be available soon on Mickey's Facebook page. Well the Libertine Supersport was the usual oozing, raunchy, red hot volcano that I always imagine it to be. Mickey laid down this amazing set last month. Everything about this picture says it all.

This place always seems to have the most insane line-ups. I don't know why I torture myself by subscribing to the emails. Belgium isn't really convenient to get to from New Jersey. Thank goodness technology allows us to enjoy things like this. Sleaze away.

Mix Monday: Mickey - August Mixtape

Dj/producer Mickey released his August mixtape a few days ago. This guy puts together some sweet nu-disco! I thought I posted something about Mickey a while back, but I apparently never got around to it. Fail. Mickey is also a resident dj of Libertine Supersport in Brussels. I wish I lived in Belgium, or at least nearby. He's played with fellow Belgian's such as Villa, Aeroplane, and Mustang. Check out the mix below and some tracks from his Farfalle EP.
