Mix Monday: Chris Jylkke - OH Shit It's Monday (Mixtape)
In case you forgot, much like I almost do every week, it's Monday. Sweden's Chris Jylkke has your back though. Not only is the title of this mix awesome, but so is the music. I wish I could find a tracklist for it. Usually, I don't mind Mondays, but I think the change from warm back to cold weather made this Monday more unwelcome than normal. Hopefully dancing to this mix will prevent me from giving in to my urge to turn up the heat in the house. I was just getting used to the idea of spring.

Goldroom - Aviva Mix 2012
Happy first day of spring! Not only does it feel like the epitome of spring in regards to the weather, but now I've got the tunes to top it all off. Talk about the perfect day to debut a Goldroom mix. I love this guy's sound. He's got tropical beach disco that kills. I'm not one to look at the entire playlist before I actually listen to the mix if it's from a reliable dj, because I like the whole element of surprise. So as soon as I heard Edwin van Cleef's "Falling," my heart melted, and I had to post something. To the Magic Tape I've been rocking in my car -- I'm sorry, you've been replaced.

Mix Monday: Tensnake - DJ Set for Okini
Last night, I decided to ditch the radio show for Tensnake's set at Le Poisson Rouge. I love doing my show, but I have no regrets on my decision. Tensnake was amazing! Seriously, this was the best show I've been to in a while. If you get the chance, check him out. He'll be in Miami this week, and then he's back overseas. Fan his page and check out the list of tour dates.
I think this mix is a bit more relaxed in comparison to last night's set, but maybe I'm simply to tired to get down at the moment. Whoa -- too tired to dance. That's new. Thanks Tensnake.

Mix Monday: Zimmer - Living Large March Mixtape
The weather has been getting more and more like spring over the past few weeks. My allergies are starting to hate me, but driving with the windows down, dancing to sweet disco jams is a favorite pastime of mine. This latest Zimmer mix is perfect. Not only do I get some of my favorite new tracks, there are also three unreleased Zimmer remixes. Look for those on Horizontal Disco Remixes, which will be out in April on Discotexas. Now sit back, and relax.

Kitsuné Club Night - Santos Party House tonight!
Since I didn't have work today, I've been impatiently waiting for the night. I'm taking my excitement out in the form of a post because my roommates are probably getting tired of me talking about it. This is on my agenda for this evening. Kitsuné Club Night! Woo. The last one back in October was amazing.

Keenhouse - Better Days EP
Surprises can either be really awesome or terrible. In this case, it's good. I've been getting a little bored of my SoundCloud dashboard lately. Everything's either crap, just okay, or it's like "no shit, I knew that'd be awesome." So I've been trying to find something new. Not necessarily new to the rest of the world, but new to me. Today is that day.
Keenhouse's latest EP on Sunlinxx Records is full of shimmering house disco -- my favorite. Two of the four tracks were put up on SoundCloud for preview, and another was posted on YouTube. Head over to Beatport to grab the entire EP. Check out Keenhouse's earlier work after the jump. A couple of the tracks are downloadable.

Mix Monday: Shiny Disco Club - Millenium Disco, Vol. 2
Oops! I totally forgot it was Monday. Fail. I blame the last two hours that were spent watching Intervention. I love that show. It's one of my biggest guilty pleasures. There's something about the psychological aspect of being a drug addict that's really intriguing. Sorry to all my alcoholics out there, drug addicts make for better episodes.
My latest fix has been this Millenium Disco compilation. Since I've messed the idea up of having a "Mix Monday," I'm going to commit. It'll be like "Compilation in the early hours of Tuesday." (That's totally not sticking.) Anyway, download this compilation. It's all free, so you can't argue with 24 tracks of disco goodness. I will surely be rocking these on the radio.
